Germany WeatherMost of Germany has a cool temperate climate. In western regions and northern regions, the climate is moderated by the North Atlantic Drift (which is the northern extension of the Gulf Stream), and these areas tend to have an oceanic climate, with mild Winters, and mostly speaking, relatively cool Summers. Eastern parts of Germany tend to have a more continental climate, with colder winters, hotter summers and long dry periods. Southern and central regions generally have a climate which in intermediate between the country's oceanic and continental climate regions. |
